2022 has been a year of growth and new beginnings for us. Moving forward with established relationships with our existing clients, nurturing relationships with new clients and welcoming new faces to the team, brings Henry Fagan into a new era. 2022 has marked the start of many exciting projects for us, which we will carry through into the new year.

Some of these projects are featured below with other highlights from a successful year at Henry Fagan:

Life Hospital:

Henry Fagan Managing Director, Sigi Naidoo, is currently heading up project management at the Life Hospital, Eugene Marais.

Eugene Marais Hospital is a private hospital situated in the small urban suburb of Les Marais in Pretoria which is located between Mayville and Eloff Estate. Les Marais is situated just north of the city centre and north-west of the Union Buildings.

The hospital has a radiology facility with a wide selection of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to CT and MRI scans that make the hospital a front runner as a private medical provider.

We as Henry Fagan are proud to be part of the professional team working on upgrading the facility to greater heights.

DBSA:

Henry Fagan is currently working with the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) to provide sanitation facilities to various schools within the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

DBSA is a government-owned development finance institution. First established in 1983, DBSA aims to promote economic growth and the regional integration of sustainable development projects and programmes in various regions within Africa. Regions of functionality are South Africa, SADC and the wider Sub-Saharan Africa.

This particular project is focused on the successful implementation of safe and sanitary toilet facilities in selected academic institutions located in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal regions.

Our team of professionals at Henry Fagan are proud to be a part of this project to develop the conditions in the academic domain and to improve the experiences of learners in South Africa.

BMRI – Tygerberg Medical Stellenbosch University:

The University of Stellenbosch and Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers are currently collaborating to repair and assist with the maintenance and functionality of the BMRI at the university’s Tygerberg Campus.

The Biomedical Research Institute (BMRI) is a medical research facility that focuses on the health sciences. Located at Stellenbosch University’s Tygerberg Campus in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, the BMRI is dedicated to understanding the genetic and biomolecular basis of disease.

This state-of-the-art institution provides opportunities for growth and expansion in South African academic and in the subjects of bioinformatics, genomics, anatomy, surgery, and neurology.

Henry Fagan is proud to be working with Stellenbosch university and to be assisting in the development of its BMRI at the Tygerberg Campus.

CSR:

This year Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers have expressed a strong intention to get involved in charities and assist in the development of communities in South Africa. This venture led to the establishment of a close relationship with NPO, Angles SA.

Angels South Africa (SA) is a non-profit charity organization that operates within South Africa. Established in the year 2020, Angels SA strives to uplift impoverished communities through various initiatives and charitable projects. They focus their efforts and attention in underprivileged communities, and their passion lies in helping the youth and elderly population of South Africa.

Our team at Henry Fagan enthusiastically participated in the NPO’s Christmas charity event in December, donating products and volunteering our time to help the senior citizens of Montclare retirement home.

Henry Fagan is proud to have partnered with Angels SA, doing our part to uplift local South African communities.

Rebranding:

This year Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers have undergone a major transformation regarding our public image, brand, and digital presence.

In 2022 we have updated our corporate identity to be more modern, innovative, and suited to our vision as a company. Our transformation included the rebranding of our company signage, the revamping of our official website www.henryfagan.com, and our venture into the world of social media through LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. We have also launched our company blog and distributed the first edition of our company profile, showcasing our projects and personality.

Looking back, we have established ourselves as a modernized company while maintaining our iconic legacy in the built environment. We look forward to our growth in the upcoming year and future development and transformations that are in store.

Certifications:

Quality services and professionalism remain core values of Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers. This year we have solidified our status as a high-quality service provider in the built environment through our certification with ISO and CESA.

CESA (Consulting Engineers South Africa) is a voluntary association of Consulting Engineering firms with a member base across the country. ISO is an independent non-governmental organisation that sets the standard for high-quality performance and functionality in companies all around the globe.

Proudly certified with both of these esteemed bodies of quality management, Henry Fagan strives to provide high quality services and achieve successful results.
