Christmas with Henry Fagan
With the festive season excitement brewing and Christmas day rapidly approaching, it seems that one can’t help but get into the holiday spirit. This year Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers was determined to celebrate the festive season by participating in a charity event, doing our part to give back during this special time of the year. Our vision became a reality this December through our close partnership with NPO, Angles SA.
Partnering with Angels SA
Throughout the duration of 2022, Henry Fagan has expressed a strong intention to get involved in charities and to assist in the development of communities in South Africa. This drive and venture led to the establishment of our relationship with NPO, Angles SA.
Angels South Africa (SA) is a non-profit charity organization that operates within South Africa. Established in the year 2020, Angels SA strives to uplift impoverished communities through various initiatives and charitable projects. They focus their efforts and attention in underprivileged communities, and their passion lies in helping the youth and elderly population of South Africa.
In collaboration with Angels SA, Henry Fagan participated in their annual Christmas charity event on Saturday 3rd December 2022, helping to spread Christmas joy and giving back to those in need.
The MontClare Christmas event
Each year Angels SA plans and manages a Christmas function for a group of individuals from a disadvantaged community. This event indulges its attendees by serving a 3-course meal, providing a source of entertainment, and finally by giving each person a thoughtful Christmas present.
This year Angels SA focused their attention on the MontClare retirement home in Tafelsig, Mitchell’s plain and the senior citizens who are residents at this facility. The NPO partnered with McDonald’s to provide breakfast for the group of seniors and coordinated the event with Tafelsig High school who hosted the event in their school hall.
Henry Fagan supported this event by compiling 20 gifts for the senior citizens who attended. Each gift bag contained a selection of essential toiletries, an assortment of treats, and a luxury product such as a bottle of perfume.
Many likeminded individuals, all from different backgrounds, attended this event to work as volunteers. Henry Fagan happily offered their time and services, with their marketing team attending the Christmas event and volunteering for the duration of the day.
