Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital
The project was initiated by an unfortunate fire incident of April 2021 at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (CMJAH) that caused damage. The primary objective of the project is to restore the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital to full and optimal functionality through repairing, restoring, and retrofitting the building to achieve full fire compliance in accordance with infrastructure compliance standards and City of Johannesburg requirements. The main scope of the project therefore seeks to undertake and address the hospital’s fire compliance. Henry Fagan Health Consortium (Henry Fagan – HC) has been appointed to plan and oversee the implementation, as assessed by the various consortium members during an intensive site inspection, of the facility wide fire compliance of the building.
The primary objective of the project is to restore the CHJAH to full and optimal functionality through repairing and restoring the fire damaged area at Block 4/5 North in accordance with infrastructure compliance standards. Henry Fagan Health Consortium (Henry Fagan – HC) has been appointed to plan and oversee the implementation, as assessed by the various consortium members during an intensive site inspection, of the Fire Remedial Works at Block 4/5 North. The DBSA has indicted that existing reports and documentation prepared by others will be made available for review by the Henry Fagan Health Consortium.
