Sigi has over 40 years’ experience in the built environment, all areas of business development and ownership, and Project and Programme Management. Having spent more than 30 of these years in executive leadership positions at major national construction companies and engineering consultancy groups. Sigi has acquired a lifetime of skills in operations and business leadership, and people leadership, and has built strong and long-lasting client relationships. He is an industry leader in advising clients on strategic initiatives to execute their objectives, grow their organisations, and deliver on their mandate. Being at the helm of the Henry Fagan business has afforded Sigi the opportunity to surround himself with a strong executive leadership team that enables him to actively pursue opportunities for the business, be a powerful technical and business advisor, ambassador, and be a strong and reliable councillor to clients and the industry at large. In addition to holding numerous professional association registrations and fellowships, Sigi is a registered Professional Construction Project Manager with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). This is a testament to his leadership in successfully completing mega projects across Southern Africa.

Fifa 2010 World Cup – Cape Town Stadium
Sigi was appointed as one of the project managers in a joint venture to roll out the 68,000-capacity stadium, as well as the upgrade of the Green Point Common, which included reinstatement of the Old Green Point Stadium and development of the Green Point Urban Park.
MyCiTi Integrated Rapid Transit (IRT) System – Phase 1a, Western Cape
Sigi was appointed in a joint venture to render Project and Procurement Management services for Phase 1A of Cape Town’s IRT System. The IRT System provides integration of various transport modes with a view of optimising the experience of the public transport customer.
