Description
On 1 July 2022, the Department of Water and Sanitation integrated Sedibeng Water operations in the Free State and Northern Cape, including Marquassi Hills into the Bloem Water area of supply. On 15 July 2022 Department of Water & Sanitation appointed Bloem Water as the Implementing Agent to oversee the various critical projects around the Matjhabeng area under the intervention mandate identified by the Minister of Water & Sanitation.
Bloem Water issued a panel tender to obtain professional service providers to execute critical projects in the newly acquired area of supply. Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers (Henry Fagan) was appointed by Bloem Water to undertake the scope and tasks of the PMO, and to act as an extension of the Bloem Water pool of resources.
Henry Fagan is the lead Professional Service Provider appointed to establish and manage a fully-fledged and capacitated Project Management Office for the management, supervision, quality assurance, auditing, oversight and reporting of the various Projects being executed by the appointed Panel of Professional Service Providers and Contractors and any other service providers that the client may appoint under the Sanitation Intervention programme in Matjhabeng.
