Andre, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of financial management, operational management and strategic planning experience. He has successively held positions of CFO, Group Management Accountant and Operations Manager in the various business sectors of Logistics, Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Retail Capital for blue chip and listed companies since 1999. He has held senior management positions over the years in companies such as SUN International, BSS (FourNews Dev.Group), Prestige Group (Div of BIDVEST), Wasteman, Aveng Group, Bytes Technologies, Hydroscand Group and DAWN Group.

As a previous CFO, Andre has played a significant role in company transformation to focus on the strategic delivery of financial systems, business development, fund raising, investments and hedging activities, and has led successful business expansions of building and construction sector into Sub-Sarah Africa and the Islands, that improved productivity and sustainability in the various companies, as well as personally driving performance improvement programmes.

Andre holds a BComm in Financial and Management Accounting, and Investment Finance from the University of Witswaterstrand and a BSc (Chem & BioChem) from the University of Natal. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (UND), a certificate in Finance & Management (Herriot-Watt Univ. Edinburg) and an Associate’s Degree from CIMA.
