Coordinating the contractor’s programme with the documentation programme, ensuring that all critical activities are coordinated, logical and achievable. Controlling and monitoring all design changes required for information flow to the contractor. Carefully managing, coordinating, controlling and monitoring construction delays.
Recently completed projects include the popular Kirstenbosch Tree Canopy Walkway (Boomslang), new headquarters for E-TV, Naval jetty in Walvis Bay, the UWC Life Sciences Auditorium building, Cape Town Stadium and the Mapungubwe Interpretation Centre, which received the 2009 Institution of Structural Engineer’s Sustainability Award and was also judged at the World Architecture Festival’s Building of the Year.
